The WCSA23 Conference meets in Chicago and on Zoom from Thursday-Saturday, June 15th-17th. Thursday eve includes dinner at Tufano’s Vernon Park Tap and a short program to kick off the event. Friday, June 16th is scheduled for our Symposium. The on-ground and Zoom track run parallel panels on the same themes with an equally fantastic set of presenters in both modalities.
The opening plenary on Class Cultures will be both on-ground and Zoomed as a synchronous event in which both the on-ground and online conference goers come together. The evening event will follow this same pattern with guest speaker, Dorian Warren.
The Saturday, June 17th set of Leadership workshops and the annual Business Meeting will be synchronous on-ground and Zoomed as one track. A social hour for Zoom presenters and audiences is also included in the Zoom track. There’s also an option for one-day participation for on-ground conference goers to the Friday, Symposium. Additionally, there’s a reduced cost for contingent workers and students. Food, coffee and snacks are included from start to finish for the on-ground participants.
